Taylor Sheridan Takes Center Stage, Bella Hadid Makes Guest Appearance in New ‘Yellowstone’
Taylor Sheridan, the creator and actor behind “Yellowstone,” took on a prominent role during the latest episode aired on Sunday night.
The executive producer, who portrays Travis Wheatley, a Texas cowboy and trainer, also featured model Bella Hadid as his girlfriend in the episode.
The show highlighted numerous scenes of Sheridan’s character showcasing his impressive riding skills and winning several rounds of strip poker. Some viewers perceived this episode as a bit self-indulgent, given Sheridan’s dual role as both actor and writer for the series.
Hadid’s brief appearance as Sadie marks her first foray into acting in a while. Besides starring in a couple of music videos alongside Offset and her ex, The Weeknd, she also had a guest role in Season 3 of the Hulu comedy “Ramy,” where she played Lena, love interest to Steve, who is portrayed by Steve Way.
Her role on “Yellowstone” coincides with her recent outings with Adan Banuelos, a cowboy and inductee of the National Cutting Horse Association Riders Hall of Fame. Banuelos mentioned in a recent W Magazine interview that they “met at a horse show” and described her as the love of his life.
This most recent episode arrives as “Yellowstone” gears up for its Season 5 finale on December 15. The latter half of the season has had its share of turmoil, with three character deaths — including the family patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) — along with the loss of one horse.
Sheridan has been busy lately, creating various new shows for Paramount, including “Lioness,” the “Yellowstone” prequels “1883” and “1923,” the Western “Landman,” and the crime drama “Tulsa King.”
