Chris Rock, a former cast member from the early ’90s, is returning to host the much-loved comedy series for its ninth episode of Season 50 this weekend.

 

This will be Rock’s fourth time as the show’s host. He was part of the cast from 1990 to 1993, according to NBC.

 

Last weekend, Paul Mescal, star of “Gladiator II,” hosted the show for his debut. The musical guest was Shaboozey, who also made his first appearance on “SNL.”

In last week’s episode, Dana Carvey revived his Church Lady character while David Spade impersonated Hunter Biden.

The December 14 episode of “SNL” will air live on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.

Who is in the Season 50 ‘SNL’ cast?

James Austin Johnson will return as President-elect Donald Trump, who claimed victory last month, while Bowen Yang will portray Vice President-elect JD Vance.
