Taco Bell introduces chicken nuggets! Find out when they hit the menu
Taco Bell is launching a new menu item this week – chicken nuggets!
In their announcement, Taco Bell stated, “We know the loyalty to chicken nuggets runs deep,” referencing customers’ preferences for McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or Chick-Fil-A, as well as the prevalence of chicken cravings.
Earlier this year, Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer, acknowledged that “we understood our fans were eager for more chicken” while gearing up for the rollout of the Cantina Chicken Menu.
Starting December 19, while supplies last, Taco Bell is ready to satisfy its fans’ desires with these new chicken nuggets, catering to the growing appetite for poultry options in fast food.
What Taco Bell’s chicken nuggets will be like
Taco Bell has revealed that their chicken nuggets will be marinated in flavorful jalapeño buttermilk and breaded using a mix of breadcrumbs and crunchy tortilla chips.
To enhance the experience, customers can enjoy these chicken nuggets with a selection of three dipping sauces: jalapeño honey mustard, a spicy ranch created with Hidden Valley, and Taco Bell’s brand-new signature “Bell sauce.”
The new chicken nugget meals will be priced at $3.99 for a 5-piece serving and $6.99 for a 10-piece. Combo meals that come with nacho fries and a drink will cost $5.99 for a 5-piece and $8.99 for a 10-piece. A complete value meal featuring five nuggets, one sauce, a crunchy taco, a beef chalupa, nacho fries, and a drink is priced at $10.49.
Earlier this year, Taco Bell tested the new chicken nuggets in Minneapolis and Houston. This limited-time offer will be available only while supplies last.
