The Latin music industry provided an impressive array of memorable albums this year, featuring both veteran artists like Shakira and Reik as well as newcomers such as Young Miko and Grupo Frontera. Whether you were celebrating with “BZRP Music Sessions #53” or mending a broken heart with “Por Qué Será,” the music was filled with passion and catchy choruses.

Latin artists made headlines by setting streaming records. In 2024, thirteen Latin tracks each gained one billion streams on Spotify, including the iconic “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee and the sultry collaboration “QLONA” by Karol G and Peso Pluma.

Kali Uchis, ‘Orquídeas’

Led by the smooth vocals of Adelaido “Payo” Solís and accompanied by Grammy-winning producer Edgar Barrera, Grupo Frontera presents a brief yet impactful second album that explores themes of heartbreak, desire, and finding solace through celebration, as expressed in their opening number “F*CKIN AMOR.” Pamela Avila

His fourth studio album showcases his collaborative prowess, featuring an impressive 24 tracks filled with contributions from artists like Cardi B, Quavo, Rich the Kid, and DJ Snake.
