Nuna Baby Essentials recalls more than 608,000 RAVA car seats: See impacted models list

If you transport little ones in your vehicle, it’s wise to verify whether you have this particular car seat.

Nuna Baby Essentials has announced a voluntary recall for 608,786 of its RAVA child seats featuring a plastic harness adjuster button, as stated in a recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

According to the report, debris might enter the front harness adjuster on the recalled car seats, leading to malfunction, which could result in an improperly secured harness.

If a child is seated in one of these recalled car seats, the harness may fail to secure them adequately, increasing the likelihood of injury in the event of a crash, the report warned.

Nuna Baby Essentials stated, “We have initiated a voluntary recall for RAVA models produced from July 16, 2016, to October 25, 2023. Owners will be eligible to receive a new seat pad, cleaning kit, and care instructions to help keep the harness adjuster functioning properly.”

YSL News reached out to Nuna Baby Essentials for more details.
