Target shoppers will soon have additional options for their shopping needs.

The retailer is set to expand with new store openings in 15 states, featuring six new locations each in Florida and Texas.

To determine new store locations, Target evaluates numerous factors, including site limitations, the proximity of existing Target stores, and “how we can best serve a community,” as stated on its website.

“Throughout this process, we collaborate with local leaders and customers to create stores that make shopping easy, enjoyable, and affordable,” explains Target.

On Thursday, the retailer also announced the start of its annual Holiday Clearance Event, in sync with promotions from Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy. Customers can take advantage of discounts on various items ranging from beauty products and holiday decorations to toys and sporting equipment, while supplies last.
