Snowfall Forecast in the West

“A final wave of significant snowfall will persist into early December 30, accompanied by strong wind gusts in regions like Idaho, the Tetons, the Wasatch, and throughout the central and northern mountains of Colorado,” Tomer explained. “From January 1 to January 6, similar conditions are expected in many of these areas. Certain ski resorts, especially in the Pacific Northwest and Tetons, may receive over two feet of snow.”

Snowfall Forecast in the Northeast

“Rain is anticipated in the Northeast from December 29 to December 30, followed by a cold front from January 1 to January 2, which will bring moderate to heavy snow accumulations,” Tomer added. “Many of New England’s top ski resorts could receive up to a foot or more of snow.”
