Denise Richards Sustains Ruptured Breast Implants After Jumping Off Bridge in Reality Show
Denise Richards has proven to be incredibly resilient, with her experiences showcasing her strength.
The 53-year-old actress, currently appearing on Fox’s latest season of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” has shared details about a frightening injury she faced while participating in the show.
The program, inspired by the UK series “SAS: Who Dares Wins,” features a group of celebrities who undergo rigorous military-style training. Among others, Richards is joined by Trista Sutter, Stephen Baldwin, and Brody Jenner in this season’s lineup.
In a recent interview on Sirius XM’s “Jeff Lewis Live,” Richards revealed that she ruptured her breast implants during her participation in the show, after the host recounted some of her daring activities, which included jumping from a boat to a helicopter.
“I also jumped off a bridge, and that’s when my implants ruptured — from that jump,” Richards explained, accompanied by her husband Aaron Phypers.
“I still need to get them replaced,” she continued. “I was supposed to do it last month, but I couldn’t because of filming commitments.”
“I feel like we pretty much signed our lives away by appearing on that show,” Richards commented. “It’s definitely risky.”
