Kathy Griffin finalizes divorce with ex-husband Randy Bick
Just over a year after beginning the divorce process, Kathy Griffin and her ex-husband Randy Bick are officially ending their relationship.
According to court documents from YSL News, Griffin and Bick, who were married for three years, finalized their divorce on Monday at the Los Angeles County Superior Court. The divorce was uncontested, meaning the couple had reached a “written agreement concerning their assets and the rights related to their marriage or domestic partnership, including support.”
Based on Griffin’s prenuptial agreement from 2019 with Bick, the former couple agreed to forgo any spousal support. As for their property, they have no shared assets from their marriage and will each keep their individual properties.
YSL News has asked for comments from Griffin’s representatives.
This was Griffin’s second marriage; she was previously married to computer administrator Matthew Moline from 2001 to 2006. Griffin claimed in a 2006 interview on “Larry King Live” that Moline stole from her and incorporated their marital issues into her comedy routines.
Griffin filed for divorce from Bick in December 2023, as per court documents acquired by YSL News. The couple was just four days away from their fourth wedding anniversary when they filed for divorce.
In her divorce filing, Griffin stated that they separated on December 22, 2023, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
After the news broke, first reported by TMZ, Griffin took to X and Instagram to express her feelings, stating, “This sucks.”
Griffin and Bick began their romantic relationship in 2011 but announced their breakup in November 2018. They reconciled in April 2019 and tied the knot on New Year’s Day 2020, in a ceremony officiated by actress and comedian Lily Tomlin.
