Capital One Users Encounter Deposit Problems, Missing Payments on Thursday

On Thursday morning, many Capital One users experienced difficulties in receiving their deposits, leaving a significant number of customers in the dark about the status of their funds and paychecks.

Numerous complaints flooded social media, particularly on the @AskCapitalOne customer service account on X, previously known as Twitter.

“What’s happening with business checking accounts?” one user inquired on Wednesday night. “Customer service told me it would be fixed in about 2 hours, but it’s now been 3 hours and still nothing! My entire account and funds are missing!”

In response, Capital One assured users that they were actively addressing the problem.

As per Down Detector, a platform that tracks outages, more than 2,000 users reported issues with Capital One banking services by 8 a.m. Thursday.

Another user mentioned they had been waiting for a direct deposit for 24 hours without any update on the situation.

“We understand how crucial it is to access your funds, and we sincerely apologize for the trouble this has caused,” Capital One stated in their reply.

YSL News has reached out to Capital One for further details.

On Wednesday, Citibank also announced that its app was facing technical difficulties after numerous customers experienced fraud alerts and trouble accessing their accounts.
