LIV Golf Signs Multiyear Media Rights Agreement with FOX Sports, Starting in 2025
FOX Sports has reached an agreement with LIV Golf, a golf tour backed by Saudi funds, for a multiyear media rights deal. The partnership will kick off with coverage of the upcoming 14 tournament schedule, as announced by the network on Thursday.
Details regarding the financial aspects of the contract and its duration have not been disclosed.
FOX will take the broadcasting reins from the CW, which has aired tournaments for the last two years.
One of FOX’s channels will showcase all three days of LIV Golf tournaments, featuring over half of the schedule broadcast live on either FOX or FS1. Fans can also stream all the events through the Fox and LIV Golf+ app.
“We are excited to collaborate with FOX Sports, one of the world’s leading broadcasting networks,” stated Scott O’Neil, CEO of LIV Golf. “LIV Golf is expanding in bold new ways, and this partnership marks a significant step forward as our League stands alongside the nation’s top sports leagues and conferences.”
Christian Crosby will continue hosting LIV Golf’s Club 54 shows before and after the rounds, with analysis provided by Rachel Drummond, Jerry Foltz, Su-Ann Heng, and Dom Boulet.
The 2025 LIV Golf season is set to commence on February 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The following three tournaments will take place internationally. The first tournament in the United States will be in Miami, starting April 4, right before the Masters tournament.
