Lakers Obtain Dorian Finney-Smith

Dec. 29: The Los Angeles Lakers traded guard D’Angelo Russell, forward Maxwell Lewis, and three second-round draft picks (including a protected pick in 2027 and unprotected ones in 2030 and 2031) to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Dorian Finney-Smith and guard Shake Milton.

Warriors Trade for Dennis Schroder from Nets

Dec. 15: The Golden State Warriors received guard Dennis Schroder and a 2025 second-round pick (from Miami) from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for guard De’Anthony Melton, guard Reece Beekman, and three second-round draft picks – one in 2026 from Atlanta, one in 2028 from Atlanta, and one in 2029 from Golden State.

Heat Trade Thomas Bryant to the Pacers

Dec. 15: The Miami Heat traded center Thomas Bryant to the Indiana Pacers in return for the option to swap second-round picks in 2031, ensuring Miami receives the higher of the two teams’ second-round picks that year.
