Senator Fetterman sports sneakers and shorts at Trump’s inauguration
Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania took a casual approach to fashion during Donald Trump’s second inauguration ceremony, opting for shorts, sneakers, and his signature hoodie as he sat in the front row.
Known for his relaxed style, Fetterman braved the chilly Washington D.C. weather wearing gray basketball shorts, appearing at ease with his hands tucked into his black Carhartt hoodie. At the event, he was noticeably different from the other men, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, who were all dressed in traditional suits and ties.
Fetterman has made headlines within the Democratic party by adopting a more moderate perspective on immigration issues and showing strong support for Israel. He has expressed his openness to collaborating with Trump and Republicans in the upcoming administration, even stating that he would be willing to meet with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
The women associated with Trump kept their looks simple yet elegant, with Ivanka Trump in a deep green outfit, Melania Trump donning a navy ensemble, and Ivanka’s 13-year-old daughter, Arabella Rose Kushner, dressed in camel tones.
Amid discussions about inauguration fashion online, some comments highlighted Melania’s “funeral look” paired with a wide-brimmed hat that cast a shadow over her face, as well as the eye-catching lacy white camisole or bra visible beneath the white blazer worn by Lauren Sánchez, the fiancée of billionaire Jeff Bezos.
