2025 Baseball Hall of Fame: Announcement Schedule, Viewing Details, and Complete MLB Ballot

Two prominent figures in baseball are anticipated to join the Hall of Fame as the 2025 voting results are set to be unveiled on Tuesday evening.

Ichiro Suzuki, who could easily be hailed as the global hit king after accumulating 4,367 hits over twenty years in both Japan and the MLB, is predicted to be elected overwhelmingly during the announcement from the Baseball Writers’ Association at 6 p.m. ET on MLB Network. Suzuki, a 10-time All-Star, 10-time Gold Glove recipient, and two-time batting champion – all while starting his Major League career at the age of 27 – has a great opportunity to become the first position player ever to be voted in unanimously.

On the other hand, left-handed pitcher CC Sabathia, who celebrated 251 wins over his 18-season career with teams like Cleveland, Milwaukee, and the New York Yankees, is also expected to secure the necessary 75% support for induction, marking an exciting first year of eligibility.

Closer Billy Wagner finds himself in a precarious situation, as this is his 10th and final chance for induction. He requires a late surge of support to push him over the threshold, having received 73.8% of the vote in the 2024 balloting.

When is the Hall of Fame Announcement?

The announcement of the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting results is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, January 21.
