Marilyn Manson announces U.S. tour dates amid ongoing investigation and assault allegations
Marilyn Manson is set to continue his worldwide tour, with performance dates in several U.S. cities for the first time since facing significant legal issues.
He has revealed spring tour dates across the U.S., with concerts scheduled in cities such as Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Houston. Presently, Manson is engaged in a global tour that features sold-out concerts in locations like Zurich, Milan, and Berlin throughout February, and he is also set to perform at the Vivo X El Rock festival in Peru in March.
Manson’s last tour, named Twins of Evil: Hell Never Dies, took place in 2019.
The past few years have been tough for the 56-year-old “shock rock” icon, as he confronts various lawsuits alleging sexual abuse, assault, and misconduct, while also being investigated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
“The skilled prosecutors in our office’s Sex Crimes Division are carefully reviewing fresh leads and new evidence that have recently emerged from the investigation conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department,” the office mentioned in October. “Recent developments have come to light in the past several weeks, adding to the already detailed case file we received from the LASD.”
Recently, over a dozen women, including his former fiancée Evan Rachel Wood and “Game of Thrones” star Esmé Bianco, have publicly accused Manson—born Brian Warner—of sexual assault and abuse. One of the ongoing lawsuits alleges that he assaulted a girl when she was only 16.
Bianco’s case was settled in January 2023, while several other lawsuits have either been resolved or dismissed. Wood did not pursue an official lawsuit, and in November, Manson withdrew his defamation lawsuit against her that lasted two years. He had claimed she caused him emotional distress and spread false allegations, labeling him a “rapist and abuser.”
