Taylor Swift Dazzles at Arrowhead, Cheers for Chiefs in AFC Championship Against Bills

On Sunday, Taylor Swift made her final appearance of the 2024-2025 football season as she walked through the tunnel at Arrowhead Stadium.

Footage captured the pop star arriving approximately 90 minutes before the game started. A golf cart transported Swift through the tunnel, where bright lights provided clear pictures of her stylish ensemble.

She donned a striking red lipstick and entered the tunnel wearing a black and gold Louis Vuitton beanie, a zip-up jacket, and a chain wallet. Her outfit also included a black skirt, red tights, and low black boots.

Accompanied by her mother Andrea, father Scott, and brother Austin, Swift is cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the AFC championship between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. The winning team will advance to the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9.

Home Game Luck and History

Swift’s presence at Chiefs games has proven fortunate, especially now with the team securing the No. 1 seed in the AFC, guaranteeing home field advantage. This season, she has only attended home games, familiarizing herself with the Arrowhead staff and security.

Fans who are superstitious believe the 35-year-old singer brings good luck, coining the phrase “Tayvoodoo” to describe her apparent magical influence.

The Chiefs have gone 8-0 with Swift in attendance this season:

  • Sept. 5: Chiefs beat the Ravens 27-20
  • Sept. 15: Chiefs beat the Bengals 26-25
  • Oct. 7: Chiefs beat the Saints 26-13
  • Nov. 4: Chiefs beat the Buccaneers 30-24
  • Nov. 10: Chiefs beat the Broncos 16-14
  • Nov. 29: Chiefs beat the Raiders 19-17
  • Dec. 21: Chiefs beat the Texans 27-19
  • Jan. 18: Chiefs beat the Texans 23-14

Last season, Kansas City had an impressive record of 10-3 when Swift was present.

However, the Buffalo Bills are eager to overcome the Chiefs. They triumphed over Kansas in Buffalo with a score of 30-21 back on November 17. While Swift performed 40 minutes away in Toronto for her Eras Tour, she was not in attendance for that away game.

Could It Be AFC Championship Round 2?

Should the Chiefs win against the Bills, Swift might head down to the field to celebrate with Kelce, much like she did last season in Baltimore, when fans fondly recall her embracing the tight end in a red sweater after the game.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT, and the AFC championship will be shown on CBS and Paramount+.
