“Uncle Si’s Comeback: ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Recovers After Duck Hunting Mishap”

‘Duck Dynasty’ star ‘Uncle Si’ Robertson, 76, on the mend after a fall while duck hunting

Silas “Uncle Si” Robertson, known from “Duck Dynasty,” is currently healing after sustaining injuries from a fall during a hunting excursion.

The 76-year-old, who is slated to return for the A&E show’s reboot, ended up in the hospital following a duck hunting adventure in Arkansas, as revealed by friends on Thursday’s episode of the “Duck Call Room” podcast.

Family associate Justin Martin shared details of the event, explaining that the winter outing took a turn for the worse when Uncle Si toppled out of a boat, landing on a bank right on top of his oxygen machine.

Initially dismissive of any concerns about his well-being, Robertson later exhibited unusual behavior that raised alarms among his friends. During breakfast, they discovered him outside in the chilly weather, acting out of character. “Then he had his meal, but he was really quiet — which is a big deal, because that boy never shuts up,” Martin noted.

Despite reassuring his friends, the following day, Martin received news that Uncle Si had been admitted to the emergency room. It turned out Robertson was experiencing low oxygen levels along with some bruised ribs, but the group remains positive about his recovery.

On Wednesday, A&E released a statement announcing the revival of “Duck Dynasty,” stating that the new episodes will showcase the Robertson family as they navigate the future of Duck Commander, support their kids through marriages and parenthood, and uphold family traditions.

The reboot, titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” will center around family member Willie Robertson and his wife Korie, along with their extensive family of six children who reside on their Louisiana property. Uncle Si and Miss Kay are also making a comeback. A&E has ordered two seasons, with 20 episodes each, for the revival.

The original program featured the Robertson clan, headed by the often-controversial Phil Robertson, and their duck-calling business located in Louisiana. The family’s return to television has been announced alongside the news of President Donald Trump reentering the political scene.

The adult children of the Robertsons, including “Dancing with the Stars” participant Sadie Robertson and her siblings John Luke, Will, Bella, and Rebecca, along with their families, will also join the cast.
