Jack Bech Shines Bright: Game-Winning Touchdown and MVP Honors at the 2025 Senior Bowl

Highlights from the 2025 Senior Bowl: Jack Bech’s Winning Touchdown and MVP Award

The 2025 Senior Bowl concluded on an emotional note, with former TCU wide receiver Jack Bech catching the decisive touchdown from Memphis quarterback Seth Henigan, just two yards out, securing victory for the American team.

Bech, visibly emotional after the game while embracing his family and teammates, wore jersey No. 7 to honor his brother, Tiger Bech, who tragically passed away in the New Orleans attack on New Year’s Day. Besides catching the winning touchdown, he recorded six catches for 68 yards and was named the MVP of the Senior Bowl on Saturday.

Each player’s helmet at the Senior Bowl sported a No. 7 sticker in remembrance of Tiger, a former college football player at Princeton. After the game, Bech mentioned that his brother was in his thoughts throughout, and his exceptional performance in the practices leading up to the game likely boosted his NFL draft prospects.

“My brother was my wings today,” Bech told NFL Network following the game. “He supported me, and I attribute all my success to him and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They’re the reason I performed as I did today.”

Bech showcased his talents even before the winning touchdown, making an impressive catch during a one-on-one matchup earlier in the game.

The American team triumphed over the National team, claiming a 22-19 victory in Mobile, Alabama.
