Diddy Faces Lawsuits from Three Alleged Victims, One Claiming Baby Oil Was Used in Drugged Assault
Sean “Diddy” Combs is confronting three new lawsuits in New York related to allegations of sexual assault.
On Tuesday, an unidentified plaintiff referred to as John Doe initiated legal action in the U.S. District Court for Southern New York, according to YSL News. He accuses Combs of a range of serious offenses including forced labor, human trafficking, sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and breach of contract. Doe, a former aspiring performer in Las Vegas, claims he was pressured into strip shows and sexual acts while unknowingly drugged, stating he believes “Combs had raped him” on multiple occasions and that he was blackmailed using footage taken by hidden cameras.
For approximately five years, Doe, represented by attorney Lisa Bloom from Los Angeles, alleges he lived in fear due to Combs’ manipulative tactics and false promises. Bloom expressed her pride in representing Doe, emphasizing their commitment to seeking justice on his behalf in a statement to YSL News.
Additionally, two women, referred to as Jane Does, filed lawsuits on the same day in New York County Supreme Court, alleging that Combs assaulted them during the 1990s. They are represented by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee.
In response, Combs’ legal team stated, “Regardless of the number of lawsuits filed, it doesn’t change the truth that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—regardless of gender or age. We exist in a time where anyone can file a lawsuit without basis. Thankfully, a fair judicial process is in place to uncover the truth, and Mr. Combs is assured he will win in court.”
Diddy is currently incarcerated after bail has been denied multiple times and is set to stand trial for charges of sex trafficking and racketeering on May 5. He continues to assert his innocence amid over two dozen civil suits filed since November 2023, accusing him of various crimes including rape and sexual abuse spanning from the 1990s to 2024.
John Doe Claims Diddy Made Grand Promises While Coercing Sexual Acts
Doe asserts that he first encountered Combs in 2007 as a noteworthy entertainer in Las Vegas. According to his lawsuit, Combs hired him through his agency for a private strip show at a hotel room in Las Vegas, subsequently requesting him for further performances. During these events, Doe claims he ingested drinks and applied baby oil to his skin while Combs and other women were present.
The baby oil allegedly caused Doe to feel “extremely tired, confused, and alarmed at feeling trapped in his own body,” as stated in the lawsuit. While in this disoriented state, he claims Combs instructed him to perform acts, including masturbation, while Combs and a woman engaged in sexual activities.
Doe mentions that he was unable to leave his work at the agency due to financial constraints but hoped to pursue a music career. Combs promised to listen to his music and help him advance his career. Doe began accepting Combs’ invitations, which he believed were for music sessions, to various cities including Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami, hoping to impress him.
“At almost every gathering, Combs made grand promises of helping his career,” Doe’s lawsuit states, noting that instead of focusing on Doe’s music, Combs shifted the interactions toward instances where Doe was directed into sexual encounters while under the influence of the allegedly drugged baby oil and other substances.
Doe described feeling trapped and scared during these situations, as Combs reportedly brandished a firearm and secured exits to confine those involved. Following these alleged engagements, which could last over 18 hours, he claims that Combs would pay him significantly less than his usual rate.
By around 2010, Doe realized Combs did not intend to assist his career and sought to sever ties for two years but felt ensnared in an abusive cycle. He states their final interaction occurred in November 2012, claiming these “traumatic experiences” resulted in serious and lasting health issues, as well as emotional and psychological damage.
“The conduct of Combs—which included rape, sexual assault, threats of violence, false imprisonment, covert drugging, secret surveillance, and manipulating payment—was profoundly outrageous and intolerable,” said Doe’s lawsuit.
Bloom, Doe’s attorney, also filed a lawsuit against Combs previously on behalf of Dawn Richard from Danity Kane, alleging sexual assault, sex trafficking, gender discrimination, and copyright infringement.
Jane Does Allege Non-Consensual Group Sexual Activities with Diddy
On Tuesday, attorney Tony Buzbee, who claims to represent over 100 others alleging misconduct by Combs, filed two suits in New York on behalf of two women who allege they were sexually assaulted in the 1990s under Combs’ direction.
In one complaint, one Jane Doe from New York City claims to have been sexually assaulted several times by Combs. She recounts an incident where, while serving drinks at one of Combs’ events in 1997, she was allegedly “raped by Combs’ associates, directed by Combs, while he was present,” after consuming a drugged drink.
Another accusation details a late-1990s incident after an encounter with Combs at Limelight nightclub, where she alleges he forced her and her friend to a penthouse suite at the Trump Hotel, where they were drugged and coerced into participating in group sexual acts.
In the second complaint, another Jane Doe from California states she was “forced to take part in group sexual activities” at one of Combs’ private parties in New York City in the 1990s. She also claims to have experienced a separate assault while dating one of Combs’ security guards. According to her account, at a Limelight party, an argument with her boyfriend resulted in her and a friend being held against their will and taken to the Trump Hotel.
In the suite, she alleges the security guard “sexually and physically assaulted her” while Combs observed, and they were subsequently compelled to engage in group sexual activities against their will.
