Carleton Hotel Bar to Feature in Budweiser Super Bowl Ad: Here’s the Scoop
John Kaczmarek is set to enjoy Super Bowl LIX in 2025 surrounded by family and friends.
While cheering for his beloved football team, Kaczmarek will also be eagerly anticipating the Budweiser Super Bowl advertisement showcasing his establishment, Carleton Hotel Bar, located in Carleton, Michigan. The ad is titled “First Delivery.”
Situated at 927 Monroe St., the unassuming bar announced its national recognition via a Facebook post stating, “The hotel made it into the Budweiser Super Bowl commercial.”
For over 17 years, Kaczmarek has operated this local hotspot, famed for its delicious burgers and steaks. Guests often come to enjoy sports broadcasts, play pool, and participate in karaoke. Special dining promotions include a classic burger and fries every Tuesday, while Sunday evenings feature music bingo from 6-8 p.m., except for Super Bowl Sunday when a watch party starts at 6 p.m.
“I learned about it from one of my customers,” Kaczmarek shared. “There’s a website where you can get drone footage for free, showcasing various angles of Carleton. Budweiser happened to choose one of those clips.”
Kaczmarek noted that the same drone footage is also utilized in a Trump campaign ad available on Shutterstock.com.
“Shutterstock contains aerial shots of Monroe Street at dawn,” he explained. “That’s the footage both parties used.”
Experiencing a moment in the national limelight brings excitement to Kaczmarek.
“However, I’m more thrilled for Carleton,” he emphasized. “I genuinely appreciate the exposure for our town.”
Budweiser USA’s marketing team stated that the commercial was helmed by Henry Alex Rubin, an Academy Award-nominated director and Emmy Award-winning advertising creator, in collaboration with FCB New York.
