‘Nateland At Sea’: Nate Bargatze to headline comedy cruise on Norwegian ship in 2026
If you weren’t able to catch comedian Nate Bargatze on his tour this year, you’ll have another chance when he takes to the seas in 2026.
The event, titled Nate Bargatze Presents: Nateland At Sea, will set sail for the Caribbean on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship. This cruise has been arranged by Sixthman, a company known for organizing festival and music cruises.
Expect an itinerary full of entertainment, including stand-up performances, live recordings of podcasts, musical acts, and more. According to a press release, “Nate Bargatze Presents: Nateland At Sea promises a comedy-filled adventure for everyone, featuring a diverse array of experiences and events, with all attendees guaranteed a seat at one of three live shows by Nate Bargatze in the luxurious Stardust Theater aboard the Norwegian Jewel.”
Here’s what you need to know.
When is the cruise?
The four-night cruise will set off from Tampa, Florida, on February 5, 2026. The Norwegian Jewel has a capacity of approximately 2,300 guests at double occupancy, as stated on the cruise line’s site.
What can guests expect?
The cruise will make a stop in Costa Maya, Mexico.
Besides live performances by Bargatze – a Tennessee-born comedian admired as the “nicest man in stand-up” by The Atlantic – attendees can participate in recordings of his podcast “Nateland” and other comedy podcasts such as “Don’t Make Me Come Back There with Dustin & Melissa Nickerson,” and “The Consumers” hosted by Greg Warren, Tim Convy, and Sean O’Brien.
The cruise will also include a diverse roster of stand-up comedians like John Crist, Dusty Slay, and Derrick Stroup. However, the entertainment goes beyond just comedy: events include magic shows by Bargatze’s father, Stephen Bargatze, a belly flop competition, a Southern Spelling Bee, and more.
How much does the cruise cost?
Current prices for the cruise start at $1,282 per person based on double occupancy, as mentioned on the website. This fare covers onboard meals, beverages such as regular coffee and non-pressed juices, comedy shows, and additional amenities.
The initial presale period is open until February 9, with a second and final round running from February 10 to February 16, as indicated on the cruise’s website. The first group of presale participants can book from February 11 to February 17, and the second group will have the chance to reserve their spots starting February 18.
Public ticket sales will launch on February 19 at 2 p.m. ET. For those who book one of the first 500 cabins, there will be an “exclusive onboard photo opportunity with Bargatze,” the release noted.
