Ford recalls close to 73,000 vehicles due to possible rear-view camera issues
Ford Motor Company has issued a recall for approximately 73,000 vehicles over concerns regarding the rearview camera.
According to a recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear-view cameras in these vehicles may occasionally go blank or show distorted images.
The exact reason for this problem is still unclear. However, Ford suspects that it may be related to the specific cameras used in these models.
There have been no known incidents of accidents or injuries linked to this issue, as stated in the report.

Which Ford vehicles are involved?
The recall affects several Ford models, including:
- 2021 Expedition
- 2021-2022 Super Duty
- 2021-2022 F-250
- 2021-2022 F-350
- 2021-2022 F-450
- 2021-2022 F-550
- 2021-2022 F-600
Additionally, some 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair vehicles are included in this recall as well.
What to do if your vehicle is recalled
Ford is currently working on a solution for this recall. Once it is ready, dealers will provide the necessary repairs at no cost to the vehicle owners.
Letters to inform vehicle owners of the recall are set to be sent out starting February 17.
