Meet the Cast of ‘Emily in Paris’: Who Are Emily, Sylvie, Gabriel, and Camille in Season 4?
The 2024 Paris Olympics have come to an end, but the summer excitement continues with the latest season of Netflix’s popular (and sometimes controversial) series “Emily in Paris.”
The first part of Season 4 premiered on Thursday, featuring the first five episodes, packed with all sorts of drama. Emily has certainly found herself in quite a whirlwind.
According to series creator Darren Star, viewers can anticipate “new characters, significantly more drama, and romance” in this season, as he mentioned to Netflix’s Tudum.
“Emily is juggling a hectic travel agenda in Season 4 of ‘Emily in Paris,'” Star explained. “From the breathtaking French Alps to the charming piazzas of Rome, audiences will experience stunning new locales through Emily’s adventures. Additionally, expect fresh characters, more drama, romance, and a whole new language challenge.”
Star also noted in a discussion with YSL News that the characters have become “more grounded and complex” this season.

Lily Collins as Emily Cooper
Emily Cooper, the star of the series, is portrayed as a savvy “marketing whizz” who consistently comes up with brilliant ideas. The show follows her life and escapades in Paris, including her romantic entanglement with Gabriel and Alfie.
Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
Gabriel, a talented chef, took a significant step in Season 2 when he opened his own restaurant, with Emily’s assistance. By the conclusion of Season 3, he has received a Michelin Star for his efforts. While his career thrives, his personal life is tumultuous. He is caught in a love triangle with his long-time girlfriend Camille, who is expecting his child, and Emily, with whom he fell in love at first sight.
“These two characters are like star-crossed lovers,” Star explained about Emily and Gabriel in a Tudum interview for Season 3. “Their passion for each other is undeniable, but obstacles keep getting in the way, leading to deeper connections in a unique way season after season.”
Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
Alfie, Emily’s other romantic interest, is a British banker introduced in Season 2. Emily meets him during French classes, and their relationship quickly intensifies. Initially, Alfie was meant to return to London at the end of Season 2, but Antoine hires him as CFO, leading him to stay in Paris. However, by the end of Season 3, their relationship deteriorates when Camille reveals that she won’t be marrying Gabriel because he has feelings for Emily.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau
Sylvie, who was once Lily’s tough boss at Savoir, decided to leave the company and create her own marketing agency, Agence Grateau. Shortly after, Lily left Savoir as well and joined Sylvie at her new venture.
Ashley Park as Mindy Chen
Mindy, Emily’s closest companion in Paris, is a hopeful singer with a Chinese-Korean background. She is also the estranged daughter of a wealthy business owner in Shanghai. By the conclusion of Season 3, Mindy and her band, which includes her ex-boyfriend Benoît and Étienne, are set to represent France at Eurovision.
Camille Razat as Camille
Camille is Gabriel’s occasional girlfriend and later fiancée. She comes from a family that owns a French champagne brand. Although Emily and Camille quickly struck up a friendship at a café, it has been tumultuous due to their mutual interest in Gabriel.
Samuel Arnold as Julien
Julien is Emily’s co-worker known for his flair, and he has collaborated with her at Savoir and Agence Grateau.
Bruno Gouery as Luc
Luc is known for his quirky personality as Emily’s co-worker, and he has a girlfriend who evaluates Michelin-starred restaurants.
William Abadie as Antoine Lambert
Antoine, the proprietor of the high-end perfume brand Maison Lavaux, works with Emily as her client. He also shares a complex history with Sylvie.
Paul Forman as Nicolas De Leon
Nicolas, son of luxury brand owner Louis de Leon, is a new client of Agence Grateau and shares a past with Mindy from their boarding school days in Switzerland. After Mindy ends her relationship with Benoît (Kevin Dias), they begin dating.
