Donald Trump Shares Fabricated Taylor Swift Endorsement and AI Images of Swifties for Trump

Former President Donald Trump is seemingly attempting to connect with Taylor Swift’s fanbase, known as Swifties.

On Sunday, Trump posted various images on his social media platform, Truth Social, that appear to have been created using artificial intelligence, suggesting that Taylor Swift and her fans support his campaign. This comes despite Swift previously expressing her opposition to the Republican nominee.

One AI-generated image depicts Swift as a patriotic Uncle Sam figure with the caption, “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.” Another, labeled as satire, states, “Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS foiled Taylor Swift concert,” referring to a thwarted terrorist plot against her concert in Vienna, which authorities from Austria and the U.S. prevented.

The content features computer-generated visuals alongside what might be a genuine photo of Trump-supporting Swifties, similar to the authentic group known as MAGA Swifties.

YSL News has reached out to Swift’s representative for a response.

Although Swift has not formally endorsed any candidates for the 2024 election yet, she has become more outspoken about her political stance in recent years.

In her 2020 Netflix documentary titled “Miss Americana,” Swift shared her political beliefs and publicly supported U.S. Senate candidate Phil Bredesen, a Democrat from Tennessee, during the 2018 midterm elections. Her publicist, Tree Paine, cautioned her about potential backlash from Trump, to which Swift responded, “I don’t care. If I receive negative press for saying, ‘Don’t put a homophobic racist in office,’ then so be it.”

Swift did not hold back in expressing her opposition to Bredesen’s competitor, Marsha Blackburn, whom she likened to “Trump in a wig.” She shared an Instagram photo with her mother, Andrea Swift, in front of a Bredesen campaign sign, with the caption: “These two Tennessee women voted for the candidate who has shown himself to be reasonable and trustworthy.”

After Swift’s endorsement of Bredesen became public knowledge, Trump stated he “enjoyed her music about 25% less now.” Ultimately, Blackburn won the Senate seat.
