Lady Gaga Introduces New French Bulldog Puppy After Dognapping Incident

Lady Gaga is starting fresh with a new puppy following the troubling events surrounding her stolen dogs in 2021.

This week, the pop icon shared a delightful TikTok video featuring her new French bulldog puppy. Dressed in her signature black hair, red lipstick, and blue eyeshadow highlighted with bold eyeliner, she entertained her puppy by lip-syncing to her latest single, “Die With a Smile,” which features Bruno Mars.

In the post, she kept her caption simple, using just a snowflake emoji.

This new addition to her family comes nearly three years after the dramatic incident where her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot while being confronted by two men attempting to steal her three dogs. Two of her pets, Koji and Gustav, were taken, while the third dog was left behind and later retrieved.

At that time, Lady Gaga offered a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her stolen dogs, which led to a lawsuit when a woman, who had been arrested in relation to the incident, returned them days later. Jennifer McBride claimed in a lawsuit filed last year that Lady Gaga tricked her into handing over the dogs by promising the reward without any questions. A judge later decided that Lady Gaga was not required to compensate her.

McBride was among five individuals charged in connection with the 2021 dog theft. She faced charges for receiving stolen property and was also considered an accessory to attempted murder. One more person was charged as an accessory and for firearm possession, while three others faced charges for attempted murder and robbery.

James Howard Jackson, the individual who shot the dog walker, received a 21-year prison sentence in 2022.
