Dunkin’ hints at a soft comeback of the pumpkin spice latte and fall menu: Find out when
It’s that time of year again—pumpkin spice latte season has officially started, with Starbucks reintroducing this beloved drink earlier this week.
As the fall menu returns at Starbucks, Dunkin’ fans are eagerly awaiting the unveiling of their own fall offerings.
This week, Dunkin’ has sparked excitement on social media, teasing their fall menu. On Wednesday, their official Instagram featured a post with the message, “See how we’re bringing back pumpkin? Very mindful, very patient, very demure.” The caption humorously hinted, “Apparently I’m not allowed to say when pumpkin comes out, but it rhymes with shmaugust shwenty shmeighth,” suggesting that they will launch their fall menu on August 28.
When will Dunkin’ launch its fall menu?
Dunkin’ confirmed the August 28 date for their fall menu in an email to YSL News on Friday but chose not to reveal the specific items on the menu.
On Friday, they teased on X (formerly Twitter): “Warn your boyfriends now – pumpkin is back next week.”
What could Dunkin’s fall menu include?
This year, Dunkin’ appears to be taking a different approach than many other brands that often roll out their fall items earlier than ever.
Last year, Dunkin’ unveiled its fall menu on August 16, making this year’s release date quite a bit later.
The 2023 fall menu featured fan favorites like the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, Nutty Pumpkin Coffee, and several pumpkin-themed pastries such as the Pumpkin Cake Donut and Pumpkin Muffin.
In 2022, Dunkin’ even launched its fall menu earlier, on August 10, according to their press release.
Besides the returning Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, the 2022 menu also included a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and a Blood Orange Dunkin’ Refresher, alongside the debut of the Nutty Pumpkin Coffee.
