Armand “Mondo” Duplantis gained widespread fame during the 2024 Paris Olympics and continues to make headlines afterward.

Just weeks after setting a new pole vault record in Paris, Duplantis has once again outdone himself.

Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, but competing for Sweden, Duplantis became a sensation at the Summer Games by clinching the gold medal in men’s pole vault while also establishing the new world record. After securing the Olympic title, he soared 6.25 meters, displaying a thrilling reaction as he made history.

This world record stood for only 20 days. During the Silesia Diamond League event in Poland on Saturday, Duplantis vaulted 6.26 meters, breaking his previous record and once again showcased his priceless reaction to this impressive milestone.

As expected, Duplantis took first place, reinforcing his dominance in the sport.

This marks the tenth time Duplantis has broken the men’s pole vault record. He initially set the record in February 2020 with a height of 6.17 meters, followed by winning gold at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics a year later.
