Allison Holker Sparks Excitement with Hint of a New Romance After tWitch’s Passing

Allison Holker, widow of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, hints at a new relationship

Allison Holker, who was married to Stephen “tWitch” Boss until his passing in 2022, is giving her followers a glimpse into a new romantic chapter.

The 36-year-old dancer and judge from “So You Think You Can Dance” shared a subtle Instagram post on Wednesday that appears to signal this new relationship. The image shows a shadow indicating that she is holding hands with someone else, accompanied by a simple caption featuring just a red heart emoji.

Her followers quickly responded in the comments, offering their support. Amanda Kloots, who lost her husband, Broadway actor Nick Cordero, to COVID-19 complications in 2020, commented: “Very happy for you.”

Holker is a mother to three children: 16-year-old Weslie Fowler, 8-year-old Maddox Laurel Boss, and 4-year-old Zaia Boss. Her husband, Stephen Boss, known as a choreographer, DJ, and former co-host of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” tragically died by suicide at the age of 40 in December 2022, just days after their ninth wedding anniversary.

Allison Holker shares her journey through grief: ‘I had 13 magical years’

As an advocate for mental health, Holker has been candid about her grief on social media and in interviews. In January, she released a children’s book titled “Keep Dancing Through: A Boss Family Groove,” which she co-authored with her late husband. They had started crafting the story together back in 2021, she shared during an appearance on The School of Greatness podcast.

She has also opened up about her experiences over the past year and a half, balancing her own grief with being there for her children and the community going through similar losses.

“There was so much love and joy during the years I had with my family, and that’s why this pain exists. That’s something beautiful,” she reflected. “I had 13 magical years that many people never get to experience. I was fortunate to have that profound love.”

Holker also addressed how the public perceives her grieving process.

“Being a public figure, people tend to have strong opinions on how I should conduct myself, what my grief should look like, and what they expect to hear from me,” she explained.

“I’ve always believed in doing things at my own pace and in my own way, which may evoke a lot of emotions from others,” she noted. “I’ve had to remind myself to stay true to my own journey because I need to process this in my own time to be the best version of myself and a good parent to my kids. This way, I can eventually use my voice to help as many people as possible.”
