Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore Reunite for ‘This Is Us’ Rewatch

Welcome back, Jack Pearson!

Stars of “This Is Us,” Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore, who played Jack and Rebecca on the NBC series, are coming together again for a rewatch podcast titled “That Was Us.” The podcast is co-hosted by Moore along with Sterling K. Brown (Randall Pearson) and Chris Sullivan (Toby).

On Wednesday, the duo uploaded two selfies on Instagram with the caption, “#ThisIsUs now and #ThatWasUs then…🤯 ⁣” In the second image, they are on the set of their fictional home, with Moore appearing pregnant for her character, while in the first image, she is also expecting—this time in real life.

Moore shared the news of her pregnancy with baby number three, a girl, back in May.

In a subsequent Instagram post, Moore and Ventimiglia were joined by their on-screen son, Brown, and their on-screen son-in-law, Sullivan.

“Current plans: Recording a very special episode of #ThatWasUs with Jack Pearson Milo Ventimiglia!!! 🤯🤯🤯 #ThisIsUs,” read the caption of the shared photo.

Fans expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming podcast episode in the comments, with one user stating, “This episode should be at least 2 hours long!”

Another fan commented, “I’ve been waiting for this, I love you all so much! ❤️”

“I can’t wait for it to come out!! Jack Pearson is definitely one of the best characters in television history, I adore him so much!!! 😭” shared another excited viewer.

This reunion, however, did not include Chrissy Metz (Kate Pearson) and Justin Hartley (Kevin Pearson), and it takes place over two years after the “This Is Us” series finale, which aired on May 24, 2022.

“I aimed for the finale to reflect a moment in the journey of an American family, as well as this specific American family,” said the show’s creator Dan Fogelman in an interview with YSL News during that time. “I was aware that Rebecca would pass away in the penultimate episode, and that the finale would depict a slice-of-life moment, with the message that, even in death, a person’s presence remains in the memories they leave behind.”
