This drama began in 2022 when popular TikTok influencer Taylor Frankie Paul, known for her “Mom Tok” content and with over 4 million followers, revealed that her close-knit group of Mormon friends had become involved in “soft-swinging,” a practice in which couples allegedly share partners without fully going through with it.

The revelation led to a flurry of chaos: relationships ending, new ones forming, families breaking apart, shifting loyalties, and a wave of gossip and scandalous revelations emerging. Now, these #MomTok influencers are transitioning their stories from social media to television with “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

The show’s synopsis highlights the two-year-old drama that initiated this chaos, focusing heavily on the ensuing scandal.
