After a glamorous return to the New York fashion scene last September and an off-season collection in April, Ralph Lauren made a noteworthy visit to the Hamptons for his sophisticated spring/summer 2025 collection.

This picturesque setting served as the backdrop for his New York Fashion Week opening show on Thursday, attracting a star-studded audience arriving via cars, helicopters, and other means for a night filled with elegance. The upscale event took place on the expansive 19-acre Khalily Stables, valued at $15.2 million, located in Bridgehampton, east of New York City. True to Ralph’s style, the evening included horses, elements from the Polo Bar, and a hint of Americana.

First Lady Jill Biden graced the event as the guest of honor, seated front row during the show and alongside the designer at the accompanying dinner.

The impressive guest list also featured Usher, Kacey Musgraves, Andra Day, Joey King, Colman Domingo, Laura Dern, H.E.R., Tom Hiddleston, Anna Wintour, Jude Law, Antoni Porowski, Justin Theroux, Natalia Bryant, Nara Smith and husband Lucky Blue Smith, Brandon Sklenar, Cole Sprouse, among others.

The 20-minute runway presentation showcased a blend of womenswear, menswear, and children’s fashion drawn from his Ralph Lauren Collection, Purple Label, and Polo Ralph Lauren lines. This was followed by a delightful dinner in a stunning replica of the Polo Bar.

What could be more exciting than seeing one supermodel? How about two?

Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington graced the runway in stunning white outfits, making two appearances each, as part of a collection featuring over 60 diverse looks.

During their first walk, Campbell showcased a sleek, shimmering column skirt accompanied by a cropped white t-shirt. Turlington wore airy white trousers paired with a sheer cream shirt, accentuated at the waist with a stylish white and silver Western belt.

On their second appearance, the vibe shifted to a sportier style: Campbell sported an off-white track jacket layered over a flowing white dress, while Turlington blended a cream blazer and white button-down shirt with denim jeans.

The appearance of these supermodels underscored a collection that perfectly captured a summer in the Hamptons—a blend of preppy, sporty, and relaxed American styles. Flowing gowns and skirts swayed gracefully, while American flags adorned tops and jackets. Bright colors energized classic blazers and denim, complemented by luxurious handbags, all showcased against the backdrop of the fading sunlight in the Hamptons.

Lauren infused a hint of “The Great Gatsby” into the collection with sparkling gowns ideal for a lavish party and traditional men’s suits with a nostalgic nod. Models Quannah Chasinghorse and Imaan Hammam showcased the strong presence on the runway.

Unlike the other models, Turlington and Campbell chose to stand by as Ralph Lauren made his entrance for a final bow, holding hands with his wife Ricky as the audience applauded enthusiastically.

“I’m just savoring the last moments of it,” he shared with YSL News prior to the show.

“I’ve always found a way to express myself through Ralph’s collection,” Usher noted. “I can always discover pieces that are perfect for the stage or fit well into my everyday life.”

Just like Ralph Lauren, Usher is contemplating his own legacy.

“Let’s aim for more,” he said with a grin, adding that he’s “just here to enjoy some fashion and friends—before heading back to my shows.”

Ralph Lauren continues to establish itself as a family-friendly brand with a remarkable showcase on the runway.

TikTok star Nara Smith looked elegant as she watched her model husband, Lucky Blue Smith, stride down the runway in a classy navy jacket, shirt and tie, cream trousers, and velvet loafers.

H.E.R.’s younger sister charmingly strutted down the runway, bringing smiles and little waves from the audience. H.E.R. shared a sweet video on her Instagram story showing the two of them together before the big moment for her sister.

“The sweatsuits and the Polo style have always been classics. Back in middle school, I wore them every single day along with matching socks,” H.E.R. commented to YSL News earlier that day. The artist also hinted at a possible future collaboration with Coldplay.

In a notable collaborative moment, supermodel Christy Turlington brought her daughter, Grace Burns, onto the runway. The 20-year-old flaunted a stylish blue plaid outfit complete with a matching tie.

The mother and daughter duo enjoyed a cozy evening at a luxurious dinner that followed the fashion show, rubbing shoulders with Naomi Campbell and others while indulging in a feast at the Polo Bar (dinner included a summer salad followed by a choice of the famous Polo Bar burger or freshly caught black bass from Montauk earlier that day). The restaurant was recreated specifically for the event, complete with replicas of famous horse portraits and the same leather upholstery as found in the original venue.

Olympic champion Bobby Finke makes a splash at his debut fashion show

Olympic swimmer Bobby Finke was thrilled following his second gold medal victory in the 1,500 free event and a world record at the 2024 Olympics in Paris this summer.

Finke, who wore a Ralph Lauren uniform for the Team USA, added even more shine to the event with his Olympic medals on display.

“This summer has been wonderful,” Finke expressed. “I returned from Paris with both a silver and a gold medal. There’s nothing negative to say about this summer; it’s been incredible. I feel like I’m riding high on success and am thrilled to be at this fantastic event.”

This event marked Finke’s debut at fashion week, and he was bubbling with excitement at the number of celebrities present.

“It’s astonishing to see so many famous faces. I’m a massive Marvel fan, and when I saw Tom Hiddleston, I was like, ‘Oh wow!'” he shared. “I never imagined who I would meet here.”

Finke’s top celebrity encounter wish? Ralph Lauren himself.

“I really hope to see him. Meeting him would be unbelievable,” he added.
