Live Updates: Michigan vs. Texas Game – Viewing Info, Predictions, Odds, and Top 25 Schedule

On Saturday, two Top 10 teams that were part of the College Football Playoff last year will face off at Michigan Stadium in a much-anticipated game between the SEC and Big Ten.

Ranked No. 3, Texas and Heisman Trophy hopeful Quinn Ewers are set to take on the No. 9 Wolverines, the reigning champions, in a match that could significantly influence the Playoff landscape.

Texas impressed in its season opener against Colorado State, scoring 52 points and accumulating 545 yards of total offense while resting their starters late in the third quarter. Ewers threw three touchdowns, with two going to Matthew Golden, completing 20 of his 27 passes for 260 yards. Backup quarterback Arch Manning also performed well, going 5 for 6 with 95 yards and a touchdown, alongside a rushing touchdown.

Conversely, Michigan faced some challenges in their initial game against Fresno State, leading by only six points with under six minutes remaining before sealing a 30-10 victory. The Wolverines predominantly focused on their run game, amassing 148 rushing yards on 34 attempts, led by senior Kalel Mullings who recorded 92 yards.

Bowl Projections for College Football

Just one week into the college football season, significant updates have been made to the YSL News Sports bowl predictions. A standout performance by Miami (Fla.) has positioned the Hurricanes as strong contenders for the ACC title.

College Football Fix podcast

The fortunes of college football teams in Florida are diverging after the season’s opening weekend. Miami made a strong impression by defeating Florida decisively, increasing the pressure on Gators’ coach Billy Napier. Meanwhile, just two days later, Florida State faced its second ACC loss of the season, suffering a heavy defeat at home against Boston College. After starting the season ranked No. 10, the Seminoles have fallen out of the US LBM Coaches poll.

Dan Wolken and Paul Myerberg from YSL News Sports are discussing these developments and more in this week’s episode of the College Football Fix.
