During their tennis adventure, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce support at the U.S. Open championship
During the recent weekend, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were seen together at the men’s final match of the U.S. Open, where American player Taylor Fritz faced off against Italy’s Jannik Sinner.
The couple made their entrance holding hands at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York. Swift dazzled in a red and white gingham dress paired with caramel-colored pumps, while Kelce sported a stylish red, light brown, and green Gucci bucket hat along with a white cardigan featuring stripes over a matching polo and shorts. They were joined in their suite by Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.
This match marks a significant moment as it is the first time in 18 years that an American player reached the finals, the last being Andy Roddick in 2006.
‘Welcome to New York, it’s been waiting for you’
Right after Thursday’s game where the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Baltimore Ravens, the couple headed to New York City. Kicking off their weekend on Friday, Kelce and Swift dined at Lucali, a popular pizza restaurant in Brooklyn. Swift wore a chic black blazer paired with a sheer top, holding hands with Kelce as they entered. The atmosphere in the restaurant shifted to hushed excitement as patrons noticed the celebrity couple. News spread rapidly, attracting a crowd outside while they enjoyed their meal.
On Saturday evening, the duo attended the wedding of model Karen Elson to Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster. Paparazzi captured them arriving at the Greenwich Village venue. Kelce, sporting a James Dean-inspired slicked-back hairstyle and a black tee, held Swift’s hand as she made a stylish entrance in a cream floral dress from Zimmerman.
Swift has worked on most of her recent albums at Electric Lady Studios, creating hits like “Lover,” “Midnights,” “Folklore,” “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” “Red (Taylor’s Version),” “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” and “Fearless (Taylor’s Version).”
Currently, Swift is taking a two-month break from her extensive Eras tour and is set to return to performance on October 18 in Miami. Additionally, she is nominated for 12 honors at the MTV Video Music Awards taking place in New York on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Kelce is anticipated to return to Kansas City this week for a Sunday game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
