This win positions the Chargers at the top of the AFC West standings, tied with the Chiefs. In other division results, the Denver Broncos fell to the Seahawks 26-20, while the Kansas City Chiefs secured a victory against the Ravens 27-20.

Jim Harbaugh’s offensive strategy

Harbaugh and his coaching team managed to reposition key players effectively, turning around a slow start and scoring 13 of their 22 points in the final quarter to clinch the win.

J.K. Dobbins had an impressive performance with 10 carries for 135 yards and a touchdown, bouncing back from a mere four rushing yards in the first half, including a standout 64-yard run in the third quarter.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert connected with rookie receiver Ladd McConkey for a touchdown later in the third quarter, which proved crucial in securing the game.

Brawl between Chargers and Raiders at game’s end

Following McConkey’s touchdown, the attempt at a two-point conversion failed, leading to a scuffle among players from the Raiders and Chargers near the end zone with 3:40 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Receiver Josh Palmer and defensive back Jack Jones were removed from the game as a result of the altercation. Harbaugh was noted for rushing onto the field to help de-escalate the situation.
