Items from ‘Game of Thrones,’ including Jon Snow’s sword and Jaime Lannister’s golden hand, are for auction

Heritage Auctions has teamed up with HBO to present over 2,000 collectibles from the beloved series based on George R.R. Martin’s novels. Featured in the auction are the infamous shame bell and the melted Iron Throne.

Some of the most cherished items from Westeros will soon be available for bidding.

An auction is on the horizon that will feature props, costumes, set decorations, weapons, and jewelry from “Game of Thrones.”

Scheduled for October 10 to 12, in Beverly Hills, California, the event will showcase an array of iconic collectibles, including Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword and Jaime Lannister’s golden hand. Heritage Auctions is collaborating with HBO to present over 900 lots, comprising more than 2,000 items from the series, including dragon eggs.

According to Michele Clapton, the show’s costume designer, “When you create designs for a TV show, they typically end up being tucked away in boxes once the show’s over. I am lucky that these costumes will have a second chance at life. It’s comforting to know they are still appreciated and discussed. Now they can continue on their journeys.”

Adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s book series, the show received 59 Emmy Awards throughout its broadcast and led to the creation of the prequel series “House of the Dragon.”
