McDonald’s Introduces Crocs-Inspired Happy Meals with Mini Keychains in the US
According to an announcement from McDonald’s to YSL News on Tuesday, a Crocs-themed Happy Meal, which has already launched in other countries, is set to arrive at McDonald’s outlets across the United States.
This collaboration between the fast-food chain and the well-known footwear brand has already seen the Crocs Happy Meal released in several countries.
The Crocs Happy Meal includes a meal along with one of 17 collectible Crocs Clog Keychains, each inspired by the recognizable shoes. These collectible keychains are accompanied by a mini shoe box and a sticker pad for personalizing your tiny footwear.
A QR code located on the box directs customers to a webpage where they can create their own digital Crocs using various patterns and color combinations.
The special Crocs Happy Meal boxes are set to launch on September 17 at all McDonald’s locations in the U.S. and more than 40 other regions globally for a limited period.
Happy Meal x Crocs Footwear Collection
In addition to the Happy Meal, Crocs will also roll out its own line of footwear in this collaboration. This will feature classic clogs designed in McDonald’s famous red and yellow, embellished with exclusive charms of Happy Meal, Chicken McNuggets, fries, and Big Mac Jibbitz. Fans can also purchase McDonald’s-themed socks to complete the outfit.
The footwear, socks, and Jibbitz from the Happy Meal x Crocs collection will also be available starting September 17 on crocs.com, in Crocs retail outlets, and through selected wholesale partners in North America. The prices for this collection will range from $15.99 to $69.99.
Previous Collaboration Between McDonald’s and Crocs
This isn’t the first collaboration between McDonald’s and Crocs.
On the Crocs website, the McDonald’s x Crocs Birdie Classic Clog is listed for $52.50.
“Early birds like Birdie will be the first to wear these Classic Clogs in her signature yellow and pink style, featuring her favorite dish – a McDonald’s Egg McMuffin – as a Jibbitzâ„¢ charm,” the company states in the shoe description.
