On Thursday, at least three individuals were shot in downtown Dallas, with the suspect still at large, according to police.

A representative of the Dallas Police Department confirmed during a news conference on Thursday afternoon that all victims are currently receiving medical treatment at nearby hospitals. Their conditions, however, remain unknown. There is currently no information available regarding the identity of the suspect, and an investigation is ongoing.

Authorities were called to the scene following reports of the shooting at 12:15 p.m. There have been no additional updates provided.

One local resident reported hearing gunfire from the 8th floor of a nearby high-rise apartment, as reported by KXAS-TV shortly after noon.

Images circulated on social media depicted a considerable presence of both police and ambulances at the incident site.
