According to a recent report by Hotels.com, over a third of the hotels surveyed indicated that guests leave belongings behind during at least 25% of their stays.

The survey inquired about some of the more “jaw-dropping items” cleaning staff have discovered.

Here’s another topic worth discussing: should parents be allowed to view their college student’s grades? Does it make a difference if the parent is paying for tuition? What if the student prefers to keep this information private? Do parents have any legal rights to access these grades?

The competition for value meals is heating up. McDonald’s has introduced a $5 Meal Deal, which was intended to be a summer special, but will continue into the fall. This meal includes a choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, a four-piece Chicken McNuggets, small fries, and a small soda.

Many other fast-food restaurants are also offering their own meal promotions and value deals, including Wendy’s, Jack in the Box, and White Castle.
