Pizza ranks among the most beloved foods in the United States, and various restaurants nationwide are rolling out special promotions this Friday, September 20, to commemorate National Pepperoni Pizza Day.

A 2021 YouGov survey revealed that pepperoni is the top pizza topping in America, with 64% of respondents expressing their love for it.

Other favored toppings include sausage, mushrooms, extra cheese, and onions, as reported in the YouGov survey involving over 6,000 adults in the U.S. Conversely, the topping most disliked was anchovies, with 61% of participants rejecting it for their pizza.

Domino’s launches ‘MOREflation’; Mix & Match offer available

Although these promotions aren’t specifically for National Pepperoni Pizza Day, Domino’s is offering some great deals for customers.

Patrons can grab any two or more menu items for just $6.99 each with the Mix & Match offer. Furthermore, from September 9-29, online customers who mix and match any two or more medium two-topping pizzas will receive a free upgrade to a large size for one of their pizzas. This promotion is part of Domino’s effort to fight “shrinkflation,” so customers get more value for the same price.

Papa Johns has ‘Papa Pairings’ and a deal on XL New York-style pizza

Papa Johns is currently featuring a promotion akin to Domino’s Mix & Match deal, allowing customers to combine any two or more items from their Papa Pairings for just $6.99 each.

Customers have options like medium 1-topping pizzas, wings, breadsticks, cheesesticks, Papadias, or desserts.

Moreover, Papa Johns has an extra-large New York Style 1-topping pizza available for only $10.99.

Little Caesars has a deal on their 3-meat treat

While not directly connected to National Pepperoni Pizza Day, fans of Little Caesars can enjoy a great deal on their 3-Meat Treat.

This offer includes a large pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bacon for just $8.99, available as a Hot-N-Ready option from 4-8 p.m. local time.

Customers can also enhance their order by adding Crazy Bread and a 2-liter Pepsi product to create a 3-Meat Treat Kickoff Combo for $15.99, as indicated on the Little Caesars website. This promotion is available only at participating locations, and a small order fee will apply for orders under $12.

Papa Murphy’s, Crust Pizza Co. join in for National Pepperoni Pizza Day deals

Participating Papa Murphy’s locations will offer 25% off orders over $25 on September 20, according to YSL News.

Additionally, Crust Pizza Co. is selling large pepperoni pizzas for $10 this Friday.

Round Table Pizza: A large Double Play Pepperoni Pizza is available for $21.99 from September 18-20.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza: Mountain Rewards members can get 15% off one large pepperoni pizza exclusively on September 20. Members will also earn double points and receive an app-exclusive mystery discount on Friday.
