Trump’s Campaign Trail: A Week in Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin

Trump’s Campaign Itinerary Includes Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin This Week

As the 2024 Presidential Elections approach their final stages, attention is focused on the campaigns of former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Recent polls show a shift towards Harris following their debate on September 10, with a YSL News/Suffolk University poll indicating she leads Trump 49%-46% in the vital swing state of Pennsylvania.

Despite this, the Trump campaign found encouragement in a New York Times/Sienna poll that showed him leading in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina.

As of Monday, Harris continued to be the favorite in betting odds, which have been reliable indicators in elections, missing only twice historically.

This week, both candidates will be campaigning in key swing states, with Trump set to visit Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Here is Donald Trump’s campaign agenda for the week.

Trump’s Schedule from September 24 to September 30

September 24: Savannah, Georgia

On Tuesday, Trump will deliver a speech in Georgia, following Harris and Walz’s recent appearances in the state.

The announcement for the Savannah event states that Trump will discuss his strategy to reduce taxes for U.S. business owners and emphasize the significance of purchasing domestic products.

Harris recently concluded her Georgia bus tour with a rally at the Enmarket Arena, attracting an audience of over 5,000 supporters.

September 25: Mint Hill, North Carolina

On Wednesday, Trump is slated to hold a rally in Mint Hill, marking his first appearance since it was revealed that Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, the gubernatorial candidate he endorsed, made a series of racist and inappropriate comments on a pornographic website, including referring to himself as a “black NAZI.”

Following these revelations, several senior members of Robinson’s campaign have resigned, and Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, who heads the Republican Governor’s Association, withdrew his endorsement of Robinson on Monday.

September 27: Michigan

Trump will host two events in Michigan on Friday.

He is scheduled for a rally in Walker and a town hall in Warren.

In a previous town hall in Flint, Trump did not acknowledge his defeat in the 2020 elections and reiterated claims of electoral fraud shortly after his notable debate loss to Harris.

September 28: Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin

On Saturday, Trump will conclude the week with a rally in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Conservative figures, including Republican Senate candidate Eric Hovde and U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, have tried to portray the town as affected by Venezuelan gang violence, alleging that a man connected to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua assaulted a woman and her daughter there.

While Alejandro Jose Coronel Zarate has been charged with multiple felonies and does have links to the international gang, local law enforcement has stated that the incident was not random and that the victims were known to Zarate, who was brought to Prairie du Chien from Madison.
