Stellantis recalls over 15,000 Fiat vehicles in the US, NHTSA reports
Stellantis has announced a recall of 15,835 Fiat vehicles because of a software fault that could result in the front airbags deploying too forcefully during an accident, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Wednesday.
This recall affects certain Fiat 124 Spider sports models from the years 2017 to 2020.
Dealers will perform the necessary airbag control module software updates at no cost, as stated by the NHTSA.
