After both teams secured their spots in the MLB playoffs, why not celebrate together?

Once the doubleheader wrapped up, players from both teams returned to their locker rooms to commemorate their playoff advancement. Although they are traditional rivals in the NL East, the two teams came together in the same venue, setting aside competition to congratulate each other.

Players from the Mets and Braves stepped out onto the field at Truist Park, beaming with joy as they took photos and shared hugs.

The Braves are set to play against the Padres in San Diego during the wild-card round, while the Mets will take on the Milwaukee Brewers. Both series will feature a best-of-three format and begin on Tuesday.
