This week features a lighter schedule as eight of the Top 25 teams in the US LBM Coaches Poll are on a bye, including the newly ranked No. 1 team, Texas. However, with conference games in full gear, there are still numerous possible upsets for our analysts to evaluate.
The only matchup between ranked teams this week sees No. 9 Missouri traveling to face No. 21 Texas A&M, marking an important early SEC clash. Meanwhile, No. 11 Mississippi aims to recover from its first defeat of the season, facing a challenging game against South Carolina.
Shifting to the Big Ten, No. 10 Michigan is set to visit the new west-coast division for a game against Washington, which serves as a rematch of last season’s national championship, although both teams have seen significant changes since then.
