How to watch and listen to ‘Call Her Daddy’ featuring Kamala Harris

On Sunday, Vice President Kamala Harris joined the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, promoting her candidacy for the presidency on Spotify’s second-most popular podcast.

During the episode, host Alex Cooper engaged with the Democratic presidential candidate on reproductive health policies, marking the podcast’s entry into significant political discussions.

“I couldn’t imagine a scenario where women’s issues are a major topic in this election and I’m not involved,” Cooper stated.

Harris reiterated her backing for abortion rights, referencing her notable questioning of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh about the government’s authority to make decisions concerning men’s bodies.

Cooper focused on this subject because it was one she felt knowledgeable about.

“I’m likely not the right person to discuss fracking. However, I feel equipped to talk about women’s bodies and the respect and valuation we receive in this nation,” Cooper explained.

New-age media shaping the 2024 race

Both Harris and former President Donald Trump are utilizing non-conventional media platforms to engage with voters who often avoid traditional news outlets.

Before her appearance on “Call Her Daddy,” Harris had a conversation on the podcast “All the Smoke,” hosted by former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

Trump has made several appearances on non-traditional platforms, including: LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau’s Breaking 50 series, a live-stream interview with the far-right figure Adin Ross, and the podcast “This Past Weekend” hosted by Theo Von. Mark Cuban, leading Business Leaders for Harris, appeared on “This Past Weekend” in September and initiated the group’s own podcast on the same day.
