Nico Ali Walsh Predicts Mike Tyson Will ‘Humiliate’ Jake Paul in Upcoming Match

Nico Ali Walsh, Muhammad Ali’s grandson, claims Mike Tyson will ‘shame’ Jake Paul

Nico Ali Walsh, the 24-year-old grandson of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, expressed his views on the upcoming match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, scheduled for November 15.

In an interview with YSL News Sports, Walsh said, “I believe Mike Tyson will completely overshadow Jake. No offense to Jake, but he lacks the technical boxing skills and experience necessary to contend with someone like Tyson.”

He also highlighted the age difference, noting, “Tyson is 58 while Paul is only 27.”

“In street fights, even if it’s just a regular person going up against Mike Tyson, there’s still a chance of landing a lucky punch. That’s one of boxing’s charms – anyone can potentially land a hit,” Walsh explained. “That’s what Jake brings to this match, as he doesn’t rely on any boxing skills, which he unfortunately lacks. Therefore, I really think Tyson will just make him look foolish.”

Earlier in June, Ali Walsh (with a record of 10-1, including five knockouts) turned down a lucrative offer to fight Paul.

Walsh further elaborated on the Tyson-Paul bout, mentioning the decision to use 14-ounce gloves instead of the usual 10 ounces. He believes the thicker gloves serve as a safety measure for Tyson, as they provide extra padding to protect his hands upon impact and are better for absorbing blows.

“Even if Mike is going to overwhelm Jake and make him look bad, he will still get hit because in boxing, if you engage, you’re bound to feel some punches,” said Ali Walsh.
