Janet Jackson is paying tribute to her late brother, Tito Jackson.

The iconic artist took to Instagram on Tuesday to honor her brother, who passed away last month at the age of 70.

In her Instagram story, she shared a nostalgic childhood snapshot of the two with the message, “May you rest in eternal peace. I miss you so much!”

At 58 years old, Janet is currently on a break from her concert tour, gearing up for her upcoming Las Vegas residency shows scheduled for December.

Tito Jackson, known for his role in the Jackson 5 alongside his brothers, passed away on September 15. His sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, confirmed the news through an Instagram tribute the following morning.

Tito’s sons expressed their grief with a heartfelt statement saying, “We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared deeply about everyone.”

They added, “It will always be ‘Tito Time’ for us. Remember to follow our father’s advice: ‘Love One Another.’ We love you, Pops.”

According to a press release from the Gallup Police Department dated September 16, an officer was alerted to a person needing medical assistance on the evening of September 15. The officer then summoned an ambulance for Tito Jackson.

Tito was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival. There has been no information released about his health conditions before the incident.

As part of the Jackson family, Tito, along with his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, achieved success with the Motown group, the Jackson 5, later known as The Jacksons.

Tito was the third among ten siblings, which included brothers, bandmates, and other famous family members like Janet, Randy, Rebbie, La Toya, and Brandon Jackson.
