Customers looking for savings can take benefit of Dollar General’s buy two, get one free promotion, as confirmed by the company to YSL News on Wednesday.

This promotion runs from October 20 to November 28, according to the company.

Customers can choose from three special offer bundles:

• Pumpkin Pie Bundle: Purchase a 6-count Keebler mini pie crust and a 12-ounce can of Eagle Brand evaporated milk, and get a free 15-ounce can of Clover Valley pumpkin.
• Green Bean Casserole Bundle: Buy a 10 ½-ounce can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup along with a 2.8-ounce container of French’s fried onions to receive a free 14 ½-ounce can of Clover Valley green beans.
• Sweet Potato Casserole Bundle: Buy a 29-ounce can of Bruce’s yams and a 2-pound bag of Clover Valley brown sugar, then get a free 10-ounce bag of Kraft mini marshmallows.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is responsible for collecting data that measures overall economic inflation, known as the Consumer Price Index. The Economic Research Service, under the U.S. Department of Agriculture, utilizes this index to study food prices. Recently, they predicted a 2.2% rise in food prices for 2024.

A Dollar General representative revealed that fresh produce has been introduced in over 5,400 of their stores.

The retailer has also shared several recipes utilizing this fresh produce, such as twice-baked sweet potatoes, baked apple pecan chicken, candied nuts, and cooked green beans.

In addition to the buy two get one free promotions, Dollar General stated that they also provide coupons for further savings.

“Our seasonal range includes a variety of holiday pantry essentials, along with weekly promotions featuring cash back offers and digital coupons, like the $5 off $25 coupon we offer each week,” the company mentioned in a message.
