Do I need to register to vote?

How can I register?

You can register in person at the Division of Motor Vehicles or online through their website. Alternatively, you can print a form and mail it in. For detailed instructions, visit the State Board of Elections’ website.

What is the registration deadline?

The cutoff for registering to vote in the 2024 general elections is 5 p.m. on October 11. However, you can still register in person during early voting, provided you have proof of residency.

Can I vote by mail?
