Zach Bryan is facing his own emotional turmoil with the recent split from Brianna Chickenfry.

The artist known for “I Remember Everything” shared news of his breakup with Chickenfry, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, through an Instagram story on Tuesday.

“I wanted to address this: Brianna and I have mutually ended our relationship. I care for her deeply and appreciate the unconditional love she has shown me for a long time,” Bryan posted.

He added: “This past year has been incredibly tough for me personally, and I believed it was best for us to part ways. I’m not perfect, and I never will be. I ask that you respect Brianna’s privacy during this time, and mine if possible.”

In closing, Bryan expressed his regret, stating, “With all that I am, I apologize to those I have disappointed. I do my best in everything I do. I have let down the people who care for me and, most importantly, myself.”

“Hey everyone, I feel really blindsided by this,” she noted on her story. “I plan to take a break from social media to heal in private, but I’ll return when I’m ready to talk.”

“I appreciate all your kind words. Remember, you’re all loved, and everything will be okay,” she added. In a YouTube clip, LaPaglia revealed she was unaware of Bryan’s post, stating, “I was blindsided,” and mentioned she’s been “crying for five days straight.”

“How can you give everything you have to someone and love them completely, even when facing challenges, only to be left behind in just a few days?” LaPaglia expressed, indicating that she wishes to keep some matters private and focus on healing for now.

She urged fans to honor her privacy and promised to provide updates soon, thanking supporters for their comforting messages during this difficult time.

Prior to Bryan’s post, she hinted at a new beginning on her Instagram with a message: “Ultimately, life moves on, even when we don’t want it to. The days pass, and the world continues spinning while we desire it to pause. It may feel unfair, but the world keeps moving forward, showing you can too.”

In May, the couple reported a “side-by-side” car accident, which Chickenfry discussed on social media, describing it as a “traumatizing” event.

“The car flipped multiple times; everything shattered, and thankfully, we were wearing our seatbelts,” she recalled. “There was a lot of blood, and we thought we might be saying our goodbyes.”

Bryan, currently on his Quittin Time tour, received stitches for a “huge gash” after the ambulance came. The duo also celebrated together at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, where Bryan was nominated for multiple awards, including best country album, and won for “I Remember Everything” alongside Kacey Musgraves.
