Brace Yourself: Disney World Holiday Visits Will See Price Hikes Next Year!

Disney World Will Be More Expensive to Visit During the Holidays Next Year

First Disneyland raised prices, and now Walt Disney World is following suit.

Prices for annual passes have increased by $30 to $100, depending on the type of pass, and newly issued tickets for November and December 2025 are at an all-time high. The price for Magic Kingdom tickets will reach $199 on certain dates during the holiday season, which is $10 more than the highest prices this year.

The ticket prices for the remainder of 2025, disclosed earlier this year, have not changed.

Here’s what visitors can expect to pay to get into Disney World next year and how to snag the cheapest park tickets.

What Are the Ticket Prices for Disney World?

Ticket prices at Disney World fluctuate based on the date and park, with more popular parks and times being pricier. Magic Kingdom stands out as not just Disney World’s most popular park but also the most frequented theme park globally.

For one-day, one-park tickets for visitors aged 10 and older, prices are as follows:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $119-$174
  • EPCOT: $129-$194
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $139-$194
  • Magic Kingdom: $139-$199

The starting price for Animal Kingdom in 2025 is higher than this year’s low of $109 but is comparable to Universal Orlando Resort rates. On most days, ticket prices tend to be significantly higher than the starting prices, yet still lower than the peak prices, which are reserved for select dates during the holiday season.

What Are Disney Ticket Prices for Christmas 2024?

The peak season for visiting Disney World usually falls on the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas through New Year’s Day.

Peak holiday ticket prices for 2024 are as follows:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $164
  • EPCOT: $174-$179
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $184
  • Magic Kingdom: $184-$189

Are There Ways to Save on Disney Tickets?

Guests planning for multi-day visits to the parks usually save by purchasing multi-day tickets. The more days added, the more affordable the price per day becomes.

To discover the cheapest dates, which for 2025 happen in August and September, simply check Disney World’s online ticket calendar.

There are often promotional offers available for multi-day trips. Potential visitors can view the latest deals on Disney World’s Special Offers page, which currently features up to $200 off nightly rates for 3-night, 2-day vacation packages and discounts of up to 25% off hotel stays booked early next year.

Throughout next year, guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels will receive complimentary entry to Disney water parks on their check-in date. Ticket prices for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach usually start around $64 for guests over age 9.

This year, promotions included a 3-Day, 3-Park Magic Ticket and 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, offering admission for as low as $89 per day over the summer. Other discounts involved reduced hotel rates, complimentary Park Hopper options, and for Disney+ subscribers and Disney Visa cardholders, free Disney Dining Plans with certain vacation packages.

Special promotions are also available for Florida residents, annual passholders, and military personnel.

Authorized third-party sellers like AAA, Undercover Tourist, and Getaway Today might provide additional deals, such as pricing adult tickets at child rates, but don’t expect massive savings. It’s advisable to be cautious of terms and conditions when booking through third-party vendors, as they are not always as flexible as direct bookings with Disney.

What Types of Disney Passes Are Available?

Disney World offers four different types of annual passes.

The majority of visitors can only purchase the top-tier Disney Incredi-Pass, which allows entry without any blackout dates.

Members of the Disney Vacation Club, a timeshare-like program, as well as Florida residents, have the option to buy the Disney Sorcerer Pass, which includes some blackout dates around Thanksgiving and the holiday season.

Additionally, Florida residents can get the Disney Pirate Pass and the weekday-only Disney Pixie Pass, which come with their own set of blackout dates.

You can find an admission calendar on Disney’s website that details the available dates for each type of annual pass.

What is the cost of an annual Disney pass?

The current system for annual passes was established in September 2021. Sales were temporarily halted in November 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in April 2023. The last price increase occurred in October 2023, with another raise happening recently.

No, there is no longer a Disney Premier Passport that allowed access to both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, as it was discontinued during the pandemic.

The annual pass system at Disneyland, known as Magic Keys, cannot be used at Disney World, and vice versa.
